Kobe Bryant’s tragic death in a fatal helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, left the world in shock. The crash took place on January 26, 2020, and along with Kobe, his and Vanessa Bryant’s 13-year-old daughter Gianna and seven others also died. The LA Lakers legend and his wife Vanessa Bryant had tied the knot in April 2001 in California. Saturday would have been the couple’s 19th wedding anniversary, and Vanessa took to her Instagram to share a romantic throwback picture, honoring late Kobe Bryant.
Vanessa took to her Instagram and shared an adorable snap of her with Kobe. The picture shows them madly in love with each other, with Vanessa cuddled up with the NBA star, as he plants a kiss on her cheek. Vanessa smiles widely in the picture, with her hand on his head. Sharing the picture, Vanessa penned a heartfelt caption, that read, “My king, my heart, my best friend. Happy 19th wedding anniversary baby. I miss you so much. I wish you were here to hold me in your arms. I love you.”
